Thank you both – the colour is actually Navy Blue, but there was a rather large yellow UFO in the sky when I took the photo! I think it’s washed the colour out a bit – but denim blue with a fleck would look rather nice!
Thanks Judit – There are many variations to the Filey pattern, at least fifteen according to the Gladys Thompson book! My next will also be a Filey, due to the connection we have with the Town but I think my next one will be a traditional grey ‘Sunday Best’. I was born in Scarborough, but their pattern doesn’t have the intricacy I like!
