Filey (Red)

This gansey is taken from Gladys Thompson, page 28, and is her “Filey Pattern V”. It was knit for my friend David of Musselburgh using Wendy’s Guernsey 5-ply wool, in red—well, he specifically asked for something bright, in “fireman’s red”, so you can’t say didn’t ask for it…
